Khao Pad Tom Yum Gai
Ingredients (2 people)
- 2 breasts Chicken
- Button Mushrooms – 1/2 punnet
- 1 large onion large diced
- 1 tomato quartered then halved
- Thai chilli paste (Nam Phrao Phro)
- Kafir lime leaves torn in half to release flavours (8)
- Ginger (8 small slices)
- 1 tsp Lemon grass (pulped)
- 2 tbsp seasoning oil
- 3 tbsp Lime juice
- 3 tbsp Fish Sauce
- 2 tsp sugar
- 2 chillies
Methodology
Fry up the following (1 min):
- Button Mushrooms – 1/2 punnet
- 1 large onion large diced
- 1 tomato quartered then halved
- 2 chillies
- Thai chilli paste (Nam Phrao Phro)
- Kafir lime leaves torn in half to release flavours (8)
- Ginger (8 small slices)
- 1 tsp Lemon grass (pulped)
Add chicken and seal (2-3 mins)
Add the following and heat up (2-3 mins)
- 2 tbsp seasoning oil
- 3 tbsp Lime juice
- 3 tbsp Fish Sauce
- 2 tsp sugar
Mix in pre-cooked rice (2 portions) mix thoroughly and serve with spring onion garnish
