Spaghetti carbonara
12oz/375g spaghetti (4 people)
INGREDIENTS
- Sauce
- 200g/8oz bacon/ham
- Large onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- 3 eggs
- 3 tbsp of single cream
- Black pepper
- 40g butter
- 40g Parmesan
- tbsp of parsley
Method:
- Chop the onion
- Cut bacon into strips
- Crush garlic
- Cook spaghetti
- Fry onion and garlic until soft then add bacon cook I’ll brown
- Beat eggs,cream and Parmesan until creamy
- Drain spaghetti add butter and mix
- Add bacon onions and garlic
- Add egg etc and thoroughly mix
